The Intercessory Prayer Ministry at Calvary Southern Baptist Church is devoted to seeking God through faithful, consistent, and powerful prayer on behalf of the church, community, families, leaders, and individuals in need. This ministry serves as a spiritual foundation for the church by standing in the gap through prayer, believing in the power of God to bring healing, guidance, restoration, strength, and transformation in every area of life.

Prayer is at the heart of spiritual growth and ministry, and the Intercessory Prayer Ministry is committed to covering the church and its mission with continual prayer and support. Members of the ministry dedicate themselves to praying for worship services, church leadership, ministry programs, outreach efforts, families, youth, and the needs of the surrounding community.  The ministry seeks to create a culture of faith, unity, and spiritual breakthrough.

The ministry also provides encouragement and spiritual support for individuals facing challenges such as illness, grief, financial hardship, relationship struggles, uncertainty, or emotional burdens. Intercessors faithfully lift up the needs of others with compassion, wisdom, and confidentiality while trusting God to move according to His perfect will and purpose.
